Hey Andrew just got through some more of your great writing; Think In Decades, How Does One Man Do So Much, The simplest productivity advice in history, What is ambition anyway? What's your work story? All of which are analogous to ‘how to get started’, ‘how to be more efficient’ but I’d LOVE to read your thoughts on ‘How to know WHAT to get started on’ Now I know this is super subjective but it seems many are now familiar with productivity techniques, flashcards, list of 6/10, 2 hour Ryan Holiday method etc, but what’s holding many of us back (speaking for myself..) is what to start. It’s incredibly subjective and so hard to write advice to many that depends on the preferences of individuals but others have attempted it (Tim Urban’s piece comes to mind: https://waitbutwhy.com/2018/04/picking-career.html but it’s very lengthy and the octopus didn’t land for me…). Naval also expresses maxims around doing what you enjoyed in your teen years or would do for free etc but I’d love your thoughts and brevity on the topic. May be wishful thinking but your Type-B ambition, be a killer but be home by, really resonated. I’m a 30 year old Producer from the UK but feel like a Project Manager working on uninspiring, ephemeral content but still don’t really know what I WANT to dedicate my time to...
